One small critique but otherwise very grateful for these
As someone who has been memorizing the ESV translation of the Psalms for a number of years, I am super grateful to come upon these, for a few reasons. I also appreciate the commentaries. My one small criticism, based on my own years of experience memorizing them, is that I feel they are read way too fast. Even if they were slowed down just a little, much would be gained. Poetry is meant to be savored, and I find that savoring each phrase more slowly leads to a MUCH deeper experience with them. However, the speedy version provides a helpful way for me to practice reciting earlier Psalms of which I need to refresh my verbatim memorization. To that end, the introductory notes such as to the choirmaster are an added aide. I hope all 150 Psalms will be completed by Dane and miraculously by me given my age! Thank you so much Dane!
