Description
Cincinnati Bengals assistant head coach and special teams coordinator Darrin Simmons returns to In The Trenches with Dave Lapham, presented by First Star Logistics, to discuss the latest play of the Bengals special teams after the team's 21-14 win over the Cleveland Browns. As the team's longest-tenured coach, Simmons has seen a lot during his coaching career. Sunday, he witnessed second-year receiver Charlie Jones take the game-opening kickoff for a 100-yard touchdown, making him the second player in franchise history to record a kickoff and punt return for a touchdown. Simmons also talks about the performances of rookie punter Ryan Rehkow, who is also the holder, long snapper Cal Adomitis, and kicker Evan McPherson in this exclusive one-on-one interview.
