The epitome of 50/50 booking
I would love to give this podcast 5 stars because I like Brian Campbell and think he has wonderful insight, a strong love for wrestling and provides a mix of humor and feeling. However, Nick Kostos makes the show nearly unlistenable. If it was just a show with Nick, it would be 1 star and frankly would not be on any podcast network. I get that Nick’s gimmick is the most passionate man in show business, but all that really means is he spends the whole time yelling, interrupting, and demeaning others. His constant berating of what people enjoy in a subjective entertainment art form is so off putting that I have considered not listening again. To say things like people need to re-evaluate their life for enjoying something that he doesn’t, or that people are idiots or children for what they enjoy is completely repugnant.

Brian Campbell and Rafe Bartholomew's boxing centric episodes of this combat sports podcast (roughly 1/3 of the episodes) are jovial and welcoming. Great if you're new to the sport or an old crusty former golden gloves boyo. Impossible to listen to without cracking a smile.Read full review »
