Great story, very interesting. A little myopic.
I’m really enjoying this podcast so far. Matt is likable and great to listen to, as is his mom, his dad, and his wife. It’s a fascinating story about an important time in medical and societal history—and how it affects people decades later. The amount of navel-gazing is a little annoying at times. Examples: Matt was so focused on his own feelings when he told his mom and his DNA results, but he didn’t explore how she felt—or even ask. And when he talks to the doctor, he doesn’t seem very empathetic towards understanding the motives and science at the time, and instead focuses on himself and his feelings through the lens of modern science.

I’m so happy this podcast exists. Thank you Matt Katz & siblings for bringing this story to light—and the production company for making a compelling documentary pod that’s not about murder.

Your story had me captivated from the beginning. Can’t wait for the next episode. May have to all the episodes again when the new one comes out.
