It’s vast. One never knows what these chaps will unearth.
You can’t get that range of musical genres anywhere else. The closest podcast to IMP in terms of sheer range was the infamous Bleep Podcast and they no longer issue proper numbered podcasts. But in my opinion IMP is much better than Bleep ever was. Hosts Gareth and Anthony understand how and why all that far reaching music fits together. This podcast made me realize that there are others in the world who share my own musical tastes and range of interest. At just over the 200 episode mark, the collection of tracks they’ve played has easily become an online treasure. We can only hope they keep it up for the foreseeable future. In the mean time rest assured they will keep on digging. Thanks guys- we are listening.

I've now listened to all of the podcasts and I love hearing music I never would otherwise hear. It's always mad but there are many gems and Anthony and Gareth are always entertaining in their own right!Read full review »

Have just discovered this podcast - excellent range of underground music and just the right balance of music and information. Great!

Not sure how this podcast evaded me for so long, but it's great. Have a great tendancy to play a mixture of artists I already like and stuff I've never heard of but now like. Great work.Read full review »
