“Much of the teaching of the New Kadampa Tradition is in line with Vajrayana Buddhist Dharma. You are free to believe or not believe any of it. The presenter apparently did not research the various schools of Buddhism. Tibetan Buddhism is the most dogmatic, but for good reason, because it is based on a long tradition of Lama (Guru) transmission. She should probably adopt Insight Meditation of Theravada or the Mindfulness of Mahayana (I.e. Thich Nhat Hahn)
If she would look into Pema Chodron’s teaching she’d find the same teachings presented in a lower intensity. She should not give up on the Dharma - and not disparage NKT - Dharma is for everyone and Buddha was kind to give us 84,000 forms to practice that best fits us.”
