“This is one of the BEST podcasts I’ve listened to along with Chris Wimmer’s Legends of the Old West Podcast.
Chris Wimmer has a voice you can listen to for hours. That’s extremely important to me when I’m driving for hours and need something to listen to. I’ve listened to a few other history podcasts and I can’t stand the narrators. They say so, um, or like too much. They try to be over dramatic while telling the tale which comes across as annoying. I can’t listen to them for more than 5 min.
Chris Wimmer is an exceptional narrator. His voice is powerful and captivating yet soothing to listen to. I have no problem listening to him narrate for hours on end.
The amount of research and work that goes into each episode is exceptional. The way Chris and his team navigate through each tale making facts, dates, and stories all align and flow exceptional well that there’s never a dull moment. You’re engaged from start to finish.”
