"When one practices meditation on the sound current and reaches the third region, the Parbrahm, then one’s Surat and Nirat — that is the ability to see and ability to hear with the soul — awakens. Then the sound current starts flowing from every cell of your body and flows all the 24 hours of the day. But you cannot attain this knowledge until you meet the Satguru. After attaining this knowledge, one has to do persistent and vigorous practice if one wants to reach one’s true home." ~ Sant...

“If we find the competent living Master, then Nirat, which is the power to hear, and Surat, which is the power to see, awaken and we have the eyes and the ears to see and hear. Start looking for the competent living Master. What does the great Master do? He connects us with the truth. He connects us with the inner sound and the inner light that flows within us.” ~Sant Khem Singh Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

“It is Shabd, the sound current, that sustains everything in creation. Shabd is the lock and is also the key. So when one receives this Shabd, the sound current, then practise it and try to connect the consciousness with this Shabd, this sound current. Life then becomes successful.” ~Sant Khem Singh Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

“God is living within us. He is living in this temple of this human body. He never left us. He is eternally living within us. [Maharaj ji is giving an example of water, which is covered with the algae.] When water is covered with the algae, we are unable to see that water. When the smell comes from the flower, then we cannot see that smell, then we should develop the love for each other. We should look for the love within ourselves.” ~Sant Khem Singh Hosted on Acast. “What is Naam? Naam is light and sound. It is the unstruck music that flows within each of us. And when this unstruck music stops, our life ends. We are all souls. Lord Krishna gives Arjun to understand, ‘Oh Arjun, you are a soul, so work like a soul, don’t think of yourself as a body’. So get Naam and practise Naam.”  The Guru will connect you with Naam and bless you with an inner experience of light and sound on the very first day.” ~Sant Khem Singh Hosted on Acast. “Tulsi Das ji says: ” I worship to the feet of the Guru, I pray to the feet of the Guru, who is God himself and who is full of mercy and compassion and who is the one who can destroy the darkness and who can destroy the ignorance in me. I pray, I worship to such a God, I refuge in the feet of such a Lord.”  He’s making us understand, that we should refuge to such a Master, who can save us away from the darkness and who can take us towards the light. “Thakar Singh ji Maharaj and all the great Masters have always given one message: ” Love everyone, love everybody, love the whole humanity”. If you want to reach the true home, then you have to follow the path of love. Since we have come and gone away from our true home, we do not find happiness on this physical plane. Love all in this creation of God. The goal of all religions is to reach God. But the path to God is one and the same for all.” ~Sant Khem Singh Hosted on Acast. See...

“A Master who comes into this world has such a wide, clear and pure heart that in his eyes there is neither high nor low caste, neither black nor white, neither Mohammedan nor Christian or any other distinction. He sees people only on the level of the soul and allows everyone to be on the level of the soul. He does not regard anyone as an enemy or a stranger. He accepts everyone with the same love and affection.” ~Sant Thakar Singh Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

“Love should be eternal and unconditional. If you are able to love someone, you are great. If the other truly loves you or anyone else, he is great, for he who is strong in love is great in this world and also in the kingdom of God. And who is great? He who loves, whose heart is filled with love for all who despise, hurt, kick and beat him. If this remains without effect on you, if your love is unshakeable, then you are a great soul, then you really have love in you. That is what we have to...

“Impatience is like a shackle that binds us all to the material world. Bow down to a saint who has the wealth of the sound current with him. Only he can help you to break these fetters. The word is the most precious jewel, but only a perfect living Master can help you to get it. The Word has not only the power to destroy our deeds, passions, the face of lust and of anger, but it can also heal you completely. One can overcome all kinds of diseases by practising the meditation of the sound...

"Value the human life you have. For only in human life can you end the cycle of life and death. The human embodiment of the Word, which is in the form of a perfect, living master, can give us the richness of the sound current. When he connects us to the inner light and the inner sound, he gives us a first-hand experience. If we then meditate further, we are able to understand what soul is and can thus ascend to the highest spiritual realms." ~ Sant Khem Singh Hosted on Acast. See...

“The jeweller is greater than the diamond and the doctor is greater than medicine. Similarly, the Guru is greater than the Lord because he is the one who can bring us together with the Lord. We have to go to the Guru. Without him, we cannot attain the true knowledge.  All scriptures and all holy books are respectable. But without the Guru, one cannot attain or get true knowledge.” ~Sant Khem Singh Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Master speaks about the story of Ram and Sita. When Ram freed Sita (who is called the soul here) and returned with her to Ayodhya, the people there lit many, many lights to welcome them.  This light is not only on the outside but is within us. The sound and the light are within us. It is a matter of finding this light and sound, also called Naam. The inner light and sound can only be given by a true Master. We could then celebrate Deewali inside daily. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy...
