“I’d rate this more if it wasn’t for the adverts. One minute the narrator is depicting the horrors of a man being eaten alive by a great white shark and the next talking about how having soft skin after a shave is essential. No warning or anything, it makes you jolt when you realise he’s not talking about the story anymore, but the importance of a clean shave, which IS important, but I want to know when the advert starts.
‘He saw a shadow pass beneath the waves, and he quickly disappeared from view as the shark spun him round and round in the water. It is always important to treat your skin with care when shaving, that’s why I use million dollar shave club products!’”

“Everything is interesting with this podcast, but it’s hard to listen to something when you’re not sure if what’s being said is a commercial or part of the story. Maybe this was the creators trying to be clever, but it created a very disingenuous and okie listening experience for me.”
