“This is the second time I have been disappointed in Gerard and his opinion during the Timor Leste podcast dismissing the behaviour of a Priest accused of sexual misconduct as being dealt with locally and defending the Pope not raising the issue. Colleen tried several times to say it is not acceptable. Thanks.
Previously in a podcast when Colleen was away and I think Father James Martin was co- hosting there was another pathetic attempt to excuse the appalling language used by the Pope about homosexuality.
The Pope appears to be a fabulous leader by example and word but don’t try to excuse his inappropriate remarks or lack of action when it happens.
Otherwise, fabulous podcast.”
