In this episode, John Pariseau shares stories with Emilie from his illustrious nondestructive testing (NDT) career. John has over 20 years of experience in the piping, hydraulic, bridge, pressure vessel, and military industries as a welding and industrial coating inspector and as an NDT instructor. He also volunteers on national committees including for ASNT, AWS, ASTM, and the National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE). In 2018, the American Welding Society (AWS) gave John an award recognizing his contribution to the science of welding inspection. Listen in to hear John and Emilie discuss some challenges of working the NDT field as well as moments that have inspired him.
