Listen now
Description
In this episode, Emilie chats with Jeri Short. Jeri found NDT through her willingness to learn. When an NDT company she was working for was short on staff, she volunteered to learn on the spot and give liquid penetrant a try. Now Jeri is a certified CP-189 Level II for visual inspection (VT), magnetic particle inspection (MT), penetrant testing (PT), and ultrasonic testing (UT), a Level III Protective Coating Inspector (PCI), and a Fireproofing Special Inspector. Listen in as Jeri shares the challenges she faced (and sometime still does) working in a male-dominated industry.
