Like it except for one problematic part
I’ve really enjoyed the podcast so far and plan to keep listening. Would be a five star though if it weren’t for an extremely problematic line of questioning from the host. It was so icky and dismissive. It was a bad listen for a survivor of sexual violence, so I’d be careful tuning in if you’ve personally experienced it. **Spoilers** It made my skin crawl when the host said “do you know how crazy that sounds? Men need to have enthusiastic participation to have sex.” He went on and on about how a small woman couldn’t coerce, force, or manipulate a man into sex. PSA: People of all genders can experience sexual violence. It is well documented that in some instances of rape, a victim may experience arousal or an erection. Meanwhile the host implied that just because this man was erect he couldn’t be coerced or experience sexual misconduct. How awful and irresponsible, damaging for survivors of intimate partner violence (that was clearly present in this case) and sexual violence to hear when they often blame themselves. I expected better, honestly.

My favorite phrase, “He climbed out of his window so he wouldn’t disturb the dog. A courtesy from one dog to another, you tell me.”

Hey, I really love the show, but I can’t listen to it which is not fair when I have paid extra. Please fix whatever glitch is going on. I will happily write a better review once I can listen again.

Dateline puts out the best content. I only wish each episode would have a quick recap at the beginning.
