Mixed feelings
I mean absolutely no disrespect to the mother featured in the first episode, but I was hoping for more educational information and less of the emotional schock factor. I understand a lot of us are not aware of the severity of the situation BUT it feels like the podcast was not very informative, educational, or that it stimulated any debate i.e. made people question their beliefs or gave them a new perspective. It was just about making people “feel”, which by itself does not help any cause, I believe. Most people choosing to listen to this podcast already have some awareness or some interest. It would have been nice to add onto that.

I love this. As a young person who just finished undergrad and moved back home to an ignorant hometown, this podcast is saving me. Kim is expanding my mind. Wonderful, intersectional, ILLUMINATING. I love it. Thank you!!
