Rawan highlights Project HOPE’s mental health and resilience initiatives and how the organization has been able to train over 100,000 health workers across the globe, of which 25,000 are from Africa. They discuss the limited mental health resources available to health workers around the world, and how COVID-19 exacerbated these challenges. They dive deeper into the stigma surrounding mental health and the role of policymakers in prioritizing mental health by allocating more funding to the sector.
