Lovely Leslie
I am fortunate to live in the same area as Leslie. It’s beyond fun hearing about her disasters and victories that we also have been through. Her quick witted humor, Horticultural or otherwise, make me laugh out loud. She’s knowledgeable and a SUPER interviewer that allows her guests to speak. Could there be a “funner “ podcast?! And most importantly, having lived on the same property for 40 years, we can attest to the scary fact that we have witnessed great losses in bird and insect populations. But! As luck would have it my husband and I (Saint Andrew) were mentored early on by a gentleman who espoused native’s so we can proudly say our property (80% native) is an oasis for birds and insects who song and presence is lacking in our neighborhood that is mostly lawn. He also taught us “mulch is for paths, leaves are for on your garden. Hats off to Leslie for putting out the word on using leaves and natives and speaking for those creatures that have no voice. Oh and yes, I LOVE my host as and lace cap hydrangeas. I wish you were on everyday!

More reviews of Into the Garden with Leslie
Leslie’s podcasts are extremely well planned, succinct and full of substance. Her format contains quality information relevant to all levels of gardeners and regardless of where anyone gardens. The only drawback is that it isn’t weekly. Linda Mayer
