“The story is super interesting. I only listened to it for as long as I did for the story.
The acting is super flat. It’s almost like they were reading everything for the first time. The characters are so broadly drawn you could predict almost everything they do. Some moments took place because they needed to be done, not because they made any sense. (The main character has this amulet that’s stolen and returned in one episode, despite the fact that this cult worships what it represents!)
Also, the characters narrate everything they do. Like… seriously?
