Surprisingly right wing and icky
BBC usually has top notch content but this was… icky. It was so weirdly conservative and right wing and apart from “it’s dangerous” didn’t really articulate what the big problem with people movement is other than “it’s the government’s decision”. Really didn’t care about the people wanting to leave their war torn countries, and only cared that people smuggling is “illegal” and doesn’t address WHY this black market exists in the first place. Surprised at how reactionary/right-wing this is. Oyeah. In episode 5 they talk to a contact and then rat him out to a lawyer and a later episode they interview migrants on their journey who are willing to talk to them AND THEN RAT THEM OUT TO THE POLICE. AND they keep talking about the picture of Scorpion and how SCARY he looks. If you look that picture up it’s just of a regular looking middle-eastern man. Cool cool cool. Not questionable at all…

If it is close to or worse than the odds of using his services, I have to sadly say you are wasting time and resources playing sensationalist fantasy...Read full review »
