A balancing act
Overall this podcast is pretty hilarious most of the time. The Two hosts play well off each other and there have been some truly funny guests (nathan, mike). Two problems I do have with this podcast is that sometimes they have guests (TIm) who will go on the huge monologue/message about spirituality and their beliefs, which i feel dont quite go with the tone of this podcast. Its also just one guy/girl saying all these abstract beliefs without ever having an opposing voice on the podcast. Another thing is that sometimes Kate can go on the self-righteous path and say something that insinuates that if you don"t follow her life view/path then you must be internally miserable and hurting. For instance she once said something along the lines that if you"re doing business instead of something artsy and "free" then you must be so internally miserable because you"re not following your "soul song" (whatever that is). She says these statements like fact, as if anyone who does not follow her ideologies is repressive. Luckily Joe is usually there to provide the voice of reason when Kate goes on these rants so there"s that.
