Trash.
Is John’s new co-host Megan an intern? She can barely string a sentence together. In the recent podcast she said: ‘as a millennial, I don’t get gold’. Well, as a millennial, I do get gold. What’s more, she’s paid to “get it”. She wasn’t wrong though, she knew nothing. I used to look forward to-and relisten to this podcast daily, now it’s just cringe. I honestly look at each new episode on my Apple podcast with disdain; great work. Megan is clueless, and the scripted chats between her and John are painful. The new format is frankly tacky and embarrassing. It was once engaging, entertaining and informative, now we have to listen to Megan fail to summarise every interview; she honestly tries to say five sentences at once; I literally transcribed one (for a laugh) and it was just insane. It’s perhaps no coincidence that the present format came about during lockdown. But please, go back to the old format.
