“I don’t know about you, but growing up, Sunday mornings were about coffee and newspapers for my parents, with the comics section separated out for me and my brothers. Now that I’m grown with a family of my own, my favorite Sunday Morning ritual is to turn on Is This Real Life with Mandy Slutsker and listen to her latest episode while doing Sunday morning house cleaning. I’ve told Mandy she’s got the sexiest voice in podcasting, but she also has a fresh take on pop culture I know I’m not going to find anywhere else. (Let’s be honest, there’s a lot of regurgitation of ideas amongst the housewives-themed podcasts, but NOT here.) Her guests are so profoundly knowledgeable and she has such an ease with how she gets the conversation flowing. I just know if someone wants to come out looking like a true expert, they’ll let Mandy interview them. Truly one of my FAVORITES. Keep up the amazing work, Mandy! “I’ve listened to quite a few of these and it’s kind of like listening to my nana’s take on Housewives.
The presenter seems to be quite behind on Bravo news and often has quite problematic takes. Her dog’s name tells me everything I need to know.
