Perhaps Paul Jenner thought his partner would be rehabilitated after she spent six months in prison for grievous bodily harm against him. He allowed her right back into the home…probably lonely and hopeful she had learned her lesson or been scared straight. But five days after her release, she beat him again, causing such extensive brain trauma, doctors said he was lucky to be alive. But, unfortunately for Paul, his luck just ran out.
