“I grew up as a student with Mr. B as my principal. My heart is so broken to hear the news of his situation. My heart goes out to his kids and his family (NOT NANCY). He was always a wonderful and sweet person. I used to always give him hugs at school. I remember calling him Mr. Turtle Neck because he loved to wear those types of sweaters. He will be truly missed and touched many students hearts, including my own. He was always so patient and calm with every kid at school even when anyone would get sent to the office, he never raised his voice and was always so understanding. It hurts to know that he was so misunderstood by his own wife, the one who should have loved him the most. I hope he rests in peace and I hope his family, the ones who loved and cared for him, continue to heal and carry his memory on. Nobody deserves to be treated that way, especially a man like Mr. B, who always seemed to be so collected on the surface level. I wish I knew he was hurting and that I reached out to thank him for his kindness growing up, as it was not easy for me. I hope to be as sweet as he was and spread the same kindness that he did. Thank you for spreading your message about him. Nobody ever knows what people are really going through and I hope you don’t beat yourself up over it. I believe he just didn’t want anyone to hurt how he was hurting. It really shows how pure and genuine he was. He had so much love to give even to the one who did not deserve his time. May he rest in peace.”
