Fine enough, needs more research + possible trigger warning.
First things first this podcast is a carbon copy of something is wrong, this is bound to happen in this day and age. Unfortunately this show is not as throughly researched as it’s predecessor. It was fine enough to listen to but I definitely picked up some victim blaming in the first season. The host mentions several times how if her friend had just “opened up to her more” this would not have happened. She also clinically describes symtoms of emotional abuse but at one point says to her friend (the subject of season one) “it’s almost like you had Stockholm syndrome, like I tried so hard to stop you but you wouldn’t listen it was like you were brainwashed” She is obviously trying her best but misses the mark time and time again. I gave it three stars because I still listened to it.
