Hear It Out
Okay, the first time I listened to this podcast, I didn’t like it. Didn’t get past the first episode. The second time I tried to listen to it, I *also* didn’t get past the first episode. But then one night I was feeling sick and I thought about this podcast and decided to give it a third go. The first few episodes are very slow. They are. It is difficult to get into. But as this first season went on I started to get attached to these characters, and the songs they were recreating. I became frustrated with them, I rooted for them, I empathized with them, and there are a couple of very touching moments in this podcast when I stopped the other things I was doing and I just listened. And then I listened again. I hope someday the creators of this podcast record an album of all of these songs, because I find myself singing the fragments from the podcast and wishing I had full songs to learn and sing. I’m looking forward to the second season: slow as it might be at times, the overall story is compelling enough that I want to see where it goes.

More reviews of It Makes A Sound
I knew a few trees that fell when I was growing up, and they did make sounds, even when no one was listening. This show is for all the kids who had growing pains growing up and for the ones who didn't make it because their emotions were too much.Read full review »

So glad I stuck with it past the first couple episodes. Really impressed with how the scenes are set. I can really imagine what’s happening.
