“Okay, the first time I listened to this podcast, I didn’t like it. Didn’t get past the first episode. The second time I tried to listen to it, I *also* didn’t get past the first episode. But then one night I was feeling sick and I thought about this podcast and decided to give it a third go. The first few episodes are very slow. They are. It is difficult to get into. But as this first season went on I started to get attached to these characters, and the songs they were recreating. I became frustrated with them, I rooted for them, I empathized with them, and there are a couple of very touching moments in this podcast when I stopped the other things I was doing and I just listened. And then I listened again. I hope someday the creators of this podcast record an album of all of these songs, because I find myself singing the fragments from the podcast and wishing I had full songs to learn and sing. I’m looking forward to the second season: slow as it might be at times, the overall story is compelling enough that I want to see where it goes.”
