“Interesting! Explains the different angles of this case. How different mind-frames were when Elizabeth was maturing, married, divorced, etc. It had changed a lot in just the 20 years they were married.
I’m 53 (b. 1967) and it has messed with me some the way I grew up to how things are now. My mother was home with my brothers and I. Had a job outside of home for about a year only. I’ve worked more outside the home but was still able to be mostly stay at home. Unfortunately for some, way it’s suppose to be for others, as far as mother working outside the home.
Murder was not a good choice! But also do understand most of why Elizabeth broke down. She was used by Dan! She worked hard supporting him to become successful as he was! Totally!! Dan never supported her as a person…sounds like he never even thanked her for all she did.
That Betty did not get how much she hurt her children was so sad. Kills me. Heartbreaking.”
