A double standard
It’s difficult to listen to this story be so sensationalized when women are being killed by their ex’s every day in this country. We ask “why couldn’t she get over it” and call her names like scorned and crazy. Yes, she is a murderer. She took two lives that were not for her to take. But, I think it is necessary to those still covering this case to ask WHY it is so infamous. Why don’t we ask the same questions and use the same language about men who do this at a shocking high rate?

More reviews of It Was Simple
I usually love the LA Times podcasts but this is not their best. The case is interesting and intriguing and had great potential for a podcast, however it is reported in a repetitive and boring manner. The host speaks so quickly with hardly changes in tone. Find myself zoning out which is a shame.

I was discussed to hear that she has fans outside that sends her gifts!!!! Shame on the system that allows a double murderer to have these privileges....Read full review »

This has a silly tone to it, music, voiceover clips... This story isn’t funny, this was a serious crime that destroyed two families.
