Poor Little Rich Girl, or Don’t Cry for me La Jolla
I watched the 2nd Betty Broderick trial on Court TV right after graduating from college. I remember things a lot differently than this podcast. Betty was not and is not a battered woman and it’s insulting to refer to her as that, to women who really have been battered. It was Betty who burned Dan’s clothes on the front lawn, Betty who crashed her Suburban into Dan’s house, Betty who used her kids as leverage and revenge and dropped her kids off one at a time at Dan’s new residence. Even leaving the youngest boy crying to sit on the steps of the house alone to wait for someone to get home. Betty’s “story” of the murder is self-serving BS. The divorce was signed, she was the one who left the kids to Dan and he called her bluff and took better care of them than she did, and the finances had been settled and Betty was awarded $16,000 per month. You left all of this out the podcast. It was Betty who smugly said she could not live on $193,000 per year. That is a slap in the face to women who are truly beaten by men and leave in the dark of night with their kids with $0.00 to live on. So what exactly did Betty have to talk over at 5:30 am?? She is a narcissistic psychopath and is sitting right where she deserves.

I think it would work better if she didn’t give...Read full review »

Bad story telling. Dishonest, delusional and pathetic. Poor production and somehow equates equal rights for women with one women who murdered another women and her husband. I’ve done jails sentences shorter than this.

The nicest thing the mistress’s friend can say about her is that the mistress let the friend use her fancy house and car. The husband wanted his house to look like a plantation manor. The husband and mistress come off as gross, controlling, transactional people who drove the wife to the end of a...Read full review »
