Interesting & Balanced
Before listening to this podcast, I had a sympathetic view of Betty Broderick. I read the newspaper accounts and watched the made-for-tv movie, the Oprah interview, and all the TV tabloid media coverage. I appreciate that this podcast is presenting a balanced view and find myself seeing a broader picture. The reporting of feminist views and culture helps those who didn’t live during that time understand the mindsets. Any links to trial transcripts for those wanting to read more?

Who Cares? What are you trying to say about this case that hasn’t been told before? That she was a rational woman? Please.

I know this case fairly well, and was hoping this would be a new approach to it. But there’s nothing much new here so far, and the chronology is a real mess. It jumps around in time, and also in topics. Maybe it will improve, but so far it’s not particularly good.
