“I was so happy to discover this podcast. I’ve listened to every episode. Irene is extremely helpful; she speaks clearly and slowly, with warmth and care. Her extensive knowledge of linguistics makes her uniquely qualified to guide new language learners.
Honestly, my Italian comprehension was mediocre when I started listening— but after 100 episodes, the improvement has been drastic. It’s been the easiest way for me to take my Italian to the next level. And now, even when I listen to Italian spoken in real life at a regular speed, my comprehension is better thanks to this podcast. I love how Irene doesn’t switch back and forth between languages— she explains new vocabulary words IN Italian.
I cannot recommend highly enough!”
