Don’t forget yourself
Hi Abbie, I’ve subscribed and binged on a fair few hours of your podcast which I’ve really enjoyed. I’m feeling disappointed that, and this is my own interpretation here only, and either rightly or wrongly, you seem to be backflipping in a couple of areas recently. I’ve found myself asking about other people thoughts out of interest in general conversation with friends etc., it seems generally I’m not alone in thinking this. Of course personal opinions are allowed to change but it’s very obvious you’ve quickly let go of a few strong views. It seems a little disingenuous to me and believe it changes the whole feel of your principles & values that I heard expressed so well in many episodes. Whether I’ve 100% agreed or not with content is completely beside the point I’m trying to make. People with authentic, considered opinion on any given topic aren’t easily influenced by others viewpoints or superficial, changeable conditions in their own lives. They can also recognise when their own strong emotions sway their thinking. I enjoy hearing you sound positive, joyful, hopeful & happy, this review is not about raining on your positivity. Now could be a good time to consider if this obvious change in tone of your podcasts resonates with long term subscribers because for want of a better word, it’s all feeling abit false. However if you’re chasing the type of user crowd that tunes in and out, then whatever, carry on as is you won’t go hungry or homeless either way.

More reviews of It's A Lot with Abbie Chatfield
Love Abbie and follow her for all her feminist power but she was talked over the whole time... Gabi continuously went on tangents and it was extremely frustrating! I feel like I barely even heard Abbie talk

I have only listened to a few podcast episodes simply because I cannot stand the rambling and the fact there is literally not structure at all. I enjoyed being part of the fb group but most recently it has become incredibly toxic. I get that Abbie is grieving but I think the right thing to do...Read full review »

The podcast definitely lives up to its title: It’s a lot and I love it! Abbie is refreshingly honest and doesn’t shy away from controversial topics. Her discussions around feminism and mental healthy are really insightful and will help a lot of young women out there. When I listen, I feel like I...Read full review »
