“Hi guys, I listen to your podcast every week, and have for maybe a year? I wish I had good news for you, but hearing you contemplate user reviews I felt like I needed to be real.
This episode when you couldn’t remember when Lala was topless in Lisa’s pool? A lot of other podcasters would remember that was when Max hurt his tooth and Faith, Lala and James went over. This makes us listeners doubt your authority on VPR and makes us hesitant to trust your POV. You can’t remember important parts? Okay. But why not look it up so when you do your pod you have answers for us? Pods that are successful are so much more than just opinions, they are opinions with research.
It’s things like that which make your pod the last on my list to listen to. Beyond the fact that the sound quality is terrible (it always is, even not in quarantine) y’all seem to forget key moments of the show (as opposed to all of the other VPR pods) and also seem to have an outdated take on the cast that isn’t in sync with a lot of viewers. That makes your pod kind of a dud, even though the two of you are sweet and lovely.
I have to agree with the one star rating; you don’t actually bring anything to the show that’s new or fresh in comparison to the other podcasts. It is boring. Yes you’re into it, and yes you’re giving your feedback, but it’s not as entertaining or fun as the other pods.
Anyway, I wish you the best, and I’ll continue to listen because I enjoy all takes on VPR, but I get where your commenters are coming from and wanted to give you a bit more insight, since you always ask so earnestly. 💙”
