Best podcast on the internet
This is the best podcast on the internet. For so many of us, when we were misunderstood teens, the X-Men was our source of adventure, excitement and empathy. By creating this podcast, Jay & Miles are helping us recover a glimpse of our childhoods. Crucially, they are also guiding us through the almost impenetrable complexities of X-Men continuity, enabling us to jump back into the X-Universe. The episodes follow a consistent format. With only the occasional tangent, they chart the history of the franchise chronologically from 1963 onward. They make sensible editorial decisions about areas of focus, rightly choosing to devote much time to the legendary run of Chris Claremont, and very little to the hapless silver-age era. Jay is presented as the academic X-Pert. Miles, the point of view enthusiast. However it is clear that they both exhibit an abundance of knowledge and enthusiasm. Start listening from episode 1 and you’ll quickly find yourself hooks.

Not a huge fan of this Podcast. It obvious that they script the entire show before they record and then manipulate it to sound really fast and unatural. You be better off listen to the Uncanny X-Cast or Pencil and Ink Reviews for X-Men related reviews.

And the fact that Miles loves Longshot makes it all the more tasty. And now when someone who doesn't read comics, wants to read...Read full review »
