After the successful completion of the Local Governments polls on the Plateau, the tribunal disclosed that the number of petitions filed by the aggrieved parties seeking the order of the court to disqualify the winning party in chairmanship and councilorship seats is a matter of concern. It was stated that at least no fewer than 26 petitions has been filed before the election tribunal and our of the numbers 7 petitioned for chairmanship seats with 19 for councilorship seats respectively.
