Very frustrating...
This class could have been wonderful. The professor is knowledgeable and personable, the subject fascinating. However, the quality of the course is undermined by the complete disregard for the online student. In the American media capital, UCLA presents a course with deplorable production values. The microphones are placed so that the sounds of students coughing or trucks passing drown out the lecturer’s voice. Although slides are integral to the presentation, they are shown only in the background. It is impossible to see them online. It’s maddeningly disrespectful of the online viewer.
