More Gas Pedal, Jim
I’ve been listening to the CampFire since ~2015. Obviously, I like the show and actually called in one time to share a story. If you listen to this show regularly enough you’ll be treated to some pretty wild tales. There are a few stories I’ve heard over the years that have absolutely stuck with me. That being said, I wish that Jim and the team would be a little more discerning in the stories they choose to air. There are way too many callers phoning-in with some of the most milquetoast, lukewarm stories about a dreams and other subjective junk that wouldn’t pass the smell-test with my 4yo. I’d prefer to listen to a show with only 36 minutes of good content in a given week than a 1.5-hour episode with 4 stories about some lady who saw a bird the day after her mom passed away (spoiler alert: her mom loved birds or something).

I used to have to wait until Halloween time just get to hear true ghost stories being told on the radio at night. Now I can listen to a whole lot more (but not while I lay in bed at night, I could not bare having my toes hang over the edge) Good stuff!
