“YouTube recommended Jits Into the Sunset to me a long while back, likely through a combination of things watched - Iceland travelogues, NC-500/Isle of Skye, Tiny House living, Van Life and van conversions. I’ve only watched one or two YouTube vids in the last months (Iceland and Scottish) so far, and will of course pursue more, but looked up the PodCast after being reminded of Jits by The Newby’s video today. What a lovely couple, with lovely dulcet voices - I so agree on the van (and the VW cons) and so I will continue to listen with vicarious envy to what I need to be getting on with - you don’t know how much hearing “you haven’t missed to boat” resonates! Gave me some camper/caravan nostalgia, made me think of lost parents, and very much that after 11 yrs work and a resignation, it’s time to get saving, re-calibrate concepts of “home” and material goods, and, even in my mid-30s, start again and get travelling! Lovely to hear the origins of all this for two of you, even brought a tear.”
