“I started Join The Party because I love Amanda in Spirits: A Drunken Dive into Myths & Legends (another PHENOMENAL podcast) and I’d always been vaguely interested in DnD. It was one of the best decisions I’ve made all year. Not only is this live play podcast a great, light-hearted, and fun campaign, but the players and the DM have a fantastic rapport that make the episodes a ton of fun to listen to. I frequently find myself laughing out loud at their tabletop antics. On top of that, this podcast succeeds where many other live play podcasts fall short: the pacing. There are never long, drawn-out discussions or entire episodes of one single battle. There’s always something happening and they never spent too much time on one single encounter or adventure. Plus, the sound quality is phenomenal and the effects are a fun touch but not overdone! The players are sweet and genuine people who role play really cute and interesting characters, and Eric is a brilliant, flexible, and inspirationally creative DM who inspired me to become a DM myself! This is the DnD Live Play podcast that will spoil every other live play for you.”
