The Next Best Thing to Being There!
My favorite podcast! Living in the U.S. and wanting to travel to France more often than I can, I live through vicariously these podcasts. Annie (who is French) is smart, fun, funny and engaging, and hosts every podcast—including “trip reports” from other listeners. Elyse (who is an American living in France) is a virtual encyclopedia of knowledge about the country, its history, and all the little details of places in France. Elyse is on most episodes that are not trip reports. I also appreciate the more general podcasts about France, covering French culture, food, and logistics. Together Annie and Elyse keep a rolling commentary going that almost makes me almost wish my commute was longer, so I could finish each episode! I usually visit Normandy every two years, but I enjoy listening about other places in France, hearing about her history, and traveling by my mind when I can’t get there in person. These podcasts keep me connected and intrigued for my future travels. Thanks Annie and Elise for keeping it interesting, fun, and intriguing. I look forward to each new episode!

I discovered this podcast thanks to Amateur Traveler and am loving it so far. Elyse and Annie are fun and have so much knowledge to share, will be making use of their tips when we go to Paris next year.
