“I read Joni's first book when I was young, and I was amazed at all the things she could do (especially her beautiful paintings). She was inspiring then, and now that I've found her website/podcast, I'm more amazed! She's the President and CEO of an international ministry. She's a bestselling author, and an educator. But somehow I don't think the wheelchair recipients through Wheels for the World even know or care, nor do some of the Family Retreat participants. All they know is the compassion they have felt as a result of her willingness to be a vessel through which the Father's love could be shown. Thank you Joni (& Friends) for teaching us how to sing, even when we are sad, to help people with disabilities, whether we have "abilities" or not, and how to pray. Our lives are richer as a result.”
