“I have no doubt in my mind that this podcast have transformed my life’s trajectory. I credit this podcast for introducing me to the FI community, and it is definitely inspiring to see a woman of color reach ambitious financial goals. Journey to Launch has planted seeds for me as a graduating law student that just hit 6figure Student loan debt. Approaching graduation, I’ve dreaded the weight of this obligation - even experiencing guilt. But this podcast has offered SO MANY WAYS FOR ME TO aggressively TACKLE this debt. The topics are always RELEVANT; she doesn’t ramble - it’s straight to the point. I feel relieved and I am excited for the challenge to accomplish my debt pay off goal of 5 years. I see Jamila as a mentor, holding my hand and supporting me - affirming that I can and I will get rid of this debt. Im now armed with tools & financial KNOWLEDGE. This podcast has boosted my confidence because I have foundational knowledge regarding stocks, retirement accounts, and real estate investments. I’ve engaged in surprisingly sophisticated conversations with older adults regarding investment strategy. I’m a HUGE fan, & I appreciate her for her commitment. Every time she or anyone says, “if I had this in my 20s, I would...” I take it & I implement it immediately. Thank you!”
