“They’ve featured a lot of guests I really wanted to hear from but I’m sometimes frustrated as a listener because they talk over each other or over the guest and I feel they often miss opportunities to extract more from their guests — so important to be actively listening when interviewing and looking out for those nuggets that flag areas to dig deeper. I realise they are not trained journalists, but I think they could do a much better podcast if they listened critically to each episode critically and then used those notes to improve future episodes. Technically they do a great job — audio levels are always set right and they speak clearly. I appreciate the effort these guys put in and I really wish them well.”
