I took this podcast series with me on a long walk. I ended up sitting on a bench and crying at the heartache and so moved by a mother’s outrage and transformation of her reality. i feel connected to Cyrus as if I knew him. I gasped at the words “ I promised to call him”—amazing storytelling and journalism. I’m glad you walked into the forest in the middle of the city by yourself.
