Ever since a New York jury found Donald Trump guilty of 34 felony crimes involving falsifying business records to cheat in the 2016 presidential election, we've been waiting for the case to proceed to sentencing.
We were expecting a ruling from the presiding judge, Juan Merchan, on November 12th on Trump's motion to dismiss based on the Supreme Court's presidential immunity ruling. But Judge Merchan just pushed the deadline from November 12th to November 19th, with Trump's sentencing date still being set for November 26th. Glenn discusses the reasons for this one-week delay and the options Judge Merchan has available to him come sentencing time.
