Great podcast and some thoughts
I’ve watched JM on YouTube for months. Love having more episodes in long format as a podcast. I appreciate your approach as a former prosecutor. You obviously have an appreciation for the hard work that law enforcement does as well as the noble work of prosecutors. I’d be interested to hear the other side of the story, specifically your thoughts on common sense changes that can be made when law enforcement or prosecutors get it wrong. What can be done to give defendants a chance on appeal when their confessions were coerced, evidence was misinterpreted, or in the case of prosecutorial misconduct. How can we improve the system to where the bad guys are convicted and innocent people are exonerated?
