To absolutely no one's surprise, Donald Trump and his lawyers just filed a request for a 30-day delay in the deadline to submit his brief in the appeal for his classified documents case. What some folks did find surprising - Special Counsel Jack Smith did NOT oppose the delay. Glenn says there are actually three reasons why Smith's decisions not to oppose the delay makes sense.
