“This podcast means so much to me; I’ve probably listened to it four times through in the past six months.
Okay, first of all, the romance is adorable and well-paced. This goes hand-in-hand with all the banter they do, which shows a MASTERY in dialogue; so often to they not say exactly what they mean, especially when they’re both pining for each other.
Second of all, the subversion of all these different tropes is unbelievably refreshing, and the main theme of love being a choice, being itself a subversion of the “love is magic” trope was really clever and inspiring!
The audio quality could be better, but it doesn’t detract from the writing.
In short: well-paced, well-written, with a subversive and inspiring message about love.”
