“Although I find Katie Couric’s cheerful air at times bordering on insincere and somewhat disingenuous the most egregious aspect of this podcast must be identified as the insufferably pretentious-for-nothing self-identified “co-host” who adds nothing that an AI-generated drone couldn’t contribute while imposing his Google search-derived know how on such matters as transgender political benchmarks on listeners with a shameless absence of humility, as though an authority on each and every topic covered, simply wretched programming. Otherwise I find her as most Americans do a comforting anchoring presence capable of steering conversations away from overly incendiary or circuitous terrain towards a positive stance, albeit always predictably shallow in terms of insightfulness and appreciation for deep understories, seemingly lost or willfully ignored by the seasoned broadcaster.”
