“Subscribed and weekly listener since the very beginning but I think the hosts (especially Ira) forget that not everyone is as up-to-date on screeners and movie premieres as he is. The straw that broke the camels back was when he spoiled the tragic framing of “The Iron Claw” in an episode where it wasn’t mentioned in the title or description. I’d been avoiding trailers and everything about it but he tossed it off so casually as if we all live in Los Angeles. I’m a pop-culture/film obsessive who lives in the middle of the country and I understand there’s not a lot I can do here but I can’t take it anymore. Also a bit strange that they cannot hold on to a woman-of-color cohost for more than a year. Will miss Ira’s bad Catherine Deneuve impression and Louis’ enthusiasm for geography but I’ve realized this podcast has outgrown me.”
