Unlike any writing podcast I’ve heard before
I didn’t think I would like the format initially—Lacour reads pre-written notes, as opposed to the spontaneous interviews that I’m used to on other podcasts. But her voice is so soothing, just like her message that your stories can take as long as they have to, and that there is an audience for quiet stories and details. I listened to it every morning during my commute last week, and during those days, I was abnormally productive in all of my creative endeavors. And I don’t think it was a coincidence.

I was delighted to find this podcast and can't wait for new episodes to pop into my world! Especially wonderful is Nina LaCour's balance between her personal experiences and her writing-teacher questions and insights. I'll be looking forward to more.Read full review »
